The Senate Ways and Means Committee conducted the public hearing on the VAT provision of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion. Led by Mr. Mendoza and Atty. Tan, a number of OSHDP member-developers from Borland, Duraville, PA Alvarez, 8990, Roper, Freedom to Build, etc. attended the hearing to manifest strong opposition to the proposed lifting of VAT exemption of socialized to low-cost housing.
