As a joint undertaking by the Office of the Cabinet Secretary, the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), the Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines (OSHDP) and the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), a Grand Housing Summit for Change with the theme: “Pagbabago sa Industriya ng Pabahay” was conducted and attended by more than 600 participants from government and private sectors all committed to solve the overwhelming issues in housing.

The Grand Housing Summit is the culmination of the prior industry consultation and initial housing summit in the cities of Davao and Cebu where the consolidated industry issues, concerns and recommendations were presented to the Cabinet Secretary. This time, it was the government’s turn to present their response to this consolidated output through a revolving panel discussion moderated by officers of OSHDP.
